Eco Skincare was inspired by my attempt to row 2,400-miles across the Pacific to raise awareness of plastic pollution. I wanted to create a world where beauty isn't a burden on our oceans. Our mission is simple: clean skin, clean conscience, clean oceans.

We've curated a collection of ocean-friendly skincare, and where plastic-free options didn’t exist, we crafted our own line - handmade in Sussex, vegan, cruelty-free, biodegradable ingredients and with a focus on plastic-free.

Plastic and body scrubs have been synonymous for decades - but not any more!

Even now, most body scrubs come packaged in plastic, and historically they included microbeads of plastic as the exfoliator themselves (thank god those have been banned). With an estimated $2.2bn in annual sales for body scrubs alone (!!) that's a lot of plastic that's being used but could be avoided. Plastic which eventually breaks down into microplastics and pollutes our water.

This body scrub is totally plastic-free, recyclable at home and both the packaging and the ingredients are much better for our oceans.

The scent is amazing, so relaxing - I use it before bed to help me drift off.

It's an easy to use bar that feels really scrubby but gentle at the same time. I love that it supports the education of girls in the community too, not many products can say that.
