An estimated 332 million sheet masks will be used every year from 2026, mostly single use and made from plastics like polyester and rayon, not to mention the millions more clay masks which are sold every year.

The vast majority of these are also packaged in plastic containers. Many are also packed with synthetic chemicals like parabens and silicons, which don’t just sit on your skin but wash away into our water systems. Basically, every time we use a traditional face mask we’re adding to a mountain of waste.

How to use

Cleanse your face and pat dry, then unfold the mask and place onto your face, smoothing to fit. Allow to sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the mask and massage in excess serum. No need to rinse.
